Hello and welcome to Alabama Rock Company .Com! Did you know that you might have something interesting in the stream or river near you? Well the odds are that you may have some neat rock or crystal formations, especially if you are near a cave system!

There are many ways that rocks are formed! It may be formed from a volcano, by minerals, by water and other natural methods! Some may be   very rough some very smooth and some are more rare than others. The beauty of the rock is in the eye of the beholder! Sometimes as you hike the creek you may find petrified wood in certain areas of the world also.  In other areas you may find gems and even gold in other areas! Well that is how we got started. One day my dad and me were in the creek searching for gold and found some pretty rocks. Since that day we have been collecting rocks from Alabama. Georgia, and Tennessee. We call this collection, “The Chandler Collection!”

             We have found many kinds of rocks and crystals on our voyages. Now we are about to List them and share our collection to the world.   We will be adding items all through January! The other day we were cutting a rock and cut into a very pretty Geode that will be listed here soon.

We have some great stuff from Graves Mountain Georgia and we also have some great banded River rock from West Alabama that we are gonna tumble. That is right Alabama river rock!

Oh yeah we also have some different color obsidian we have found. And we can't forget last falls trip to Graves Mountain GA, where we found some interesting rocks and minerals. Coming soon Alabama Rock Company .com!

There are some great places to find Alabama rock! The winter is a bad to hunt because the streams are muddy and the water high! It will not be long to spring and the perfect time to look for geodes and Alabama rock!
