The Henry D. Clayton House was home to judge and legislator Henry De Lamar Clayton, Jr. Confederate General Henry DeLamar Clayton, Sr built the Clayton Housewhich is located in Clayton, Alabama. Henry D. Clayton became a federal Judge and was known as an advocate for judicial reform. 1976 the house was declared a National Historic Landmark.
