Built in 1853 St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church is considered one of the Southeast’s finest picturesque movement in American church building. St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church is known as a small Carpenter Gothic style church. Located in Prairieville, Alabama the old wooden church is a reminder of a great time in American history. The old church appeared to be built from a design in the Rural Architecture by architect Richard Upjohn. It is National Historic Landmark and is registered in the National Register of Historic Places.
