Wilson Dam

Wilson Dam was built between 1918 and 1925 on the Tennessee River. Wilson Dam was built by United States Army Corps of Engineers. The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) soon took control Wilson Dam. The dam is 4,541 feet (1,384 m) across the Tennessee River and 127 feet tall. On November 13th, 1966 Wilson Dam became a National Historic Landmark.
