Saturday we went to a dig at Hogg MOuntain Georgia and found a vein of Black Tourmaline on Quartz! We dug for hours and found some big small and large crystals! They are awesome and can't wait to get them listed! We also have found some beautiful rose quartz! So yall come back soon and check out the new store! Thanks For dropping by the Alabama Rock Shop! We are still working and cleaning some of pretty Geodes that we have found! We also have some Alabama Sugar Rock and some great Agates from the Athens and Huntsville area! WE have also found some realy neat Crystalized Rocks from the Hokes Bluff area! Some of the crysalized rock has a very Beautiful Purple color in it! I can't wait to take the saw and find out how pretty they are inside! When we found the rocks we took one and tried to bust it open and it was super hard, but we did nick it! That is when i saw the great crystals!

We also have some great Crystalized Chert from the Fort Payne area! Yall come back soon and check out our Rock collection! We will be adding a camping section and we will be adding some more Prospecting gear! We have been on a Few Gold prospecting trips and haven't found the mother lode yet!
